About Mundallio
Mundallio is a sparsely populated rural locality in the Outback region of South Australia, north of Port Augusta at the southern end of the Flinders Ranges. The Mundallio Creek area was once worked for magnesite, with BHP digging shallow open pits and underground workings there in the 1940s and 1950s.
