About Manna Hill
Manna Hill, gazetted as Mannahill, is a town and locality in the north-east pastoral district of South Australia, one of the state's easternmost settlements. It was settled in the 1880s as a water-supply and maintenance point on the Peterborough to Cockburn railway line, completed in 1887, and also supported early gold mining in the district. The stone railway station built in 1886 is the only station east of Peterborough still standing and is heritage-listed.
