About Maltee
Maltee is a rural locality in the District Council of Ceduna on the far west of South Australia's Eyre Peninsula. The locality takes its name from a railway station on the Eyre Peninsula line, one of the many sidings spaced along the wheat-growing country that the railways opened to settlement. Today its land is sparsely settled mallee scrub and dryland cropping country.
