About Lyndhurst (SA)
Lyndhurst is a small outback town in Far North South Australia, at the junction of the Strzelecki and Oodnadatta tracks. It began as a railway siding on the old Ghan line in 1878 and was gazetted as a town in 1896. The town marks the southern end of the Strzelecki Track, which runs to Innamincka.
