About Woolshed Flat (SA)
Woolshed Flat is a locality near the southern end of the Clare Valley in South Australia, about 92 kilometres north of Adelaide. The name derives from early shearing activity along Woolshed Flat Creek, a tributary of the Wakefield River. The district features a heritage-listed Gothic sandstone Wesleyan Methodist church built in 1859 and lies near the Riesling Trail through the Clare Valley wine region.
