About Stockwell
Stockwell is a small rural settlement in the Barossa Valley wine region of South Australia, situated approximately 6 kilometres north-east of Nuriootpa. The area is named after Samuel Stockwell, an early landowner, and is surrounded by vineyards producing grapes for the region's renowned wine industry. Stockwell sits within the heart of the Barossa, one of Australia's most famous wine-producing districts, with the landscape characterised by neat rows of grapevines on the region's rich red soils.
