About Seppeltsfield
Seppeltsfield is a locality on the western side of the Barossa Valley in South Australia, home to the historic winery of the same name. The estate was established in 1852 by Joseph Ernst Seppelt, a migrant from Silesia who turned from tobacco to growing grain and grapes. Its avenue of more than 2,000 palm trees, planted from 1929, is one of the Barossa's best-known landmarks.
