About Moppa
Moppa is a small rural locality in the Barossa wine region of South Australia, situated about five kilometres north-west of Nuriootpa. It is regarded as one of the most historic sub-regions of the Barossa Valley, home to some of the oldest Shiraz and Grenache vines in the world with plantings dating back to the late 1800s. The elevated terrain above 300 metres provides cooler growing conditions that produce fruit of exceptional quality.
