About Outer Harbor
Outer Harbor is an industrial suburb at the northern tip of the Lefevre Peninsula, about 22 km north-west of the Adelaide city centre. Established in 1908 when ships had outgrown the Port River channel to Port Adelaide, it now contains a container berth, the cruise-ship Overseas Passenger Terminal and the headquarters of the Royal South Australian Yacht Squadron, and is the terminus of the Outer Harbor railway line.
