About Globe Derby Park
Globe Derby Park is a northern suburb of Adelaide, about 15 kilometres from the central business district in the City of Salisbury. Bounded by the Little Para River and Dry Creek, both with sealed cycling and walking trails, the suburb is home to South Australia's flagship harness racing venue which has hosted the Inter Dominion championship five times. Established in 1998 from the southern part of Bolivar, it is named after the influential Standardbred stallion Globe Derby.
