About The Limits

The Limits is a rural locality in the North Burnett Region of Queensland, about 8 km south-east of Gayndah and roughly 150 km south-west of Bundaberg. Most of the locality is mountainous country rising to around 400 m, with flatter land in the north-east, used mainly for grazing on native vegetation. The origin of the name is unclear, although the Von Cronholm family were fruit growers at 'The Limit' from at least 1936.
