About Coalstoun Lakes

Coalstoun Lakes is a rural town in the North Burnett Region, south-west of Biggenden. It is best known for Coalstoun Lakes National Park, where the extinct volcano Mount Le Brun rises 200 metres above the surrounding valley, its two craters forming shallow lakes that attract birdwatchers and bushwalkers.
