About Forrest Beach (Qld)
Forrest Beach is a coastal locality in the Shire of Hinchinbrook, Queensland, on the Coral Sea coast. Allingham is the town within the locality, fronting the beach from which the locality takes its name. The beach suffered severe erosion when Tropical Cyclone Yasi struck the coast in February 2011, stripping much of the sand from its dunes and foreshore.
