About Nambour
Nambour lies in the subtropical hinterland at the foot of the Blackall Range on Petrie Creek. Historically a sugar-growing centre, the town retains heritage-listed cane tramway tracks through its main streets from the Moreton Central Sugar Mill (1897-2003). It serves as a gateway to the hinterland towns of Montville and Maleny.
