About Adavale
Adavale is a remote outback town in the Shire of Quilpie, south-west Queensland, approximately 100 kilometres north-east of Quilpie. Founded in the 1880s as an administrative centre, it declined after the Western railway bypassed it in 1917 in favour of Quilpie. The town is now known for its historic pub, the annual Muster in the Mulga rodeo, and as a gateway to Hell Hole Gorge National Park.
