About Laravale
Laravale is a rural locality in the Scenic Rim Region of Queensland, about 14 kilometres south-west of Beaudesert. The southern boundary is marked by Christmas Creek and the Logan River, and the Mount Lindesay Highway passes through the locality. Round Mountain rises to 109 metres in the north, and Cotters Lookout provides views across the valley toward Mount Lindesay. The area supports grazing on rolling country and was historically linked to the Beaudesert Shire Tramway, which operated from 1903 to 1944.
