About Moorang
Moorang is a sparsely populated rural locality in the Scenic Rim Region of Queensland, located approximately 73 kilometres south-west of Brisbane. The name is an Aboriginal word meaning duck. The Little Liverpool Range forms the western boundary, with peaks including Kangaroo Mountain at 755 metres. The Bremer River rises in nearby Tarome and flows through the locality.
