About Brookwater
Brookwater is a residential suburb in the City of Ipswich, Queensland, and one of the suburbs of the Greater Springfield Development, located 23 kilometres east-south-east of Ipswich CBD and 33 kilometres south-west of Brisbane. Judged the best residential subdivision in 2006 by the Urban Development Institute of Australia, the suburb is home to the Brookwater Golf and Country Club with an 18-hole Greg Norman-designed championship course. Brookwater Village Shopping Centre, the Mater Health Centre and parks including Opossum Creek Parklands provide amenities.
