About Upper Cooyar Creek
Upper Cooyar Creek is a rural locality in the Toowoomba Region of Queensland, 93 km north of Toowoomba. The Great Dividing Range forms its western boundary and the Cooyar Range its northern boundary. Cooyar Creek, a tributary of the Brisbane River, rises within the locality. Bunya Mountains National Park occupies part of the north-west, with the remaining land used for grazing and forestry.
