About Nevilton
Nevilton is a rural locality in the Toowoomba Region of Queensland, situated on the Darling Downs near the New England Highway. It is believed to be named after the Neville family, who operated a postal receiving office when it opened in 1901. Nevilton State School operated intermittently from 1903 until its permanent closure in 1958.
