About Jackson North

Jackson North is a rural locality in the Maranoa Region of Queensland, adjoining the town of Jackson to the south. The Great Dividing Range runs through the locality, forming the drainage divide between rivers flowing east to the Coral Sea and the Murray-Darling Basin. The Warrego Highway forms its southern boundary, and the former Noonga State School operated in the district from 1947 until 1968.
