About Felton South
Felton South is a rural locality on the Darling Downs in Queensland's Toowoomba Region, situated roughly 44 kilometres south-west of Toowoomba. Bounded by the Condamine River and Hodgson Creek, the area is characterised by the rich black basaltic clay soils for which the Darling Downs are renowned. Cropping of wheat, sorghum and cotton alongside beef cattle grazing are the dominant land uses.
