About Allora
Allora is a rural town and locality in the Southern Downs Region of Queensland, Australia, located 160 kilometres south-west of Brisbane on the New England Highway. Known as the "best little town on the Downs", it features over 30 heritage sites. It was the childhood home of P.L. Travers, author of Mary Poppins, and supports agriculture including wheat and poultry.
