About Carbine Creek

Carbine Creek is a rural locality in the Central Queensland region, located about 34 kilometres southwest of Capella and 357 kilometres west of Rockhampton in the Central Highlands Region. The landscape features open grazing country on native vegetation with Kettle State Forest in the southwest and Llandillo State Forest in the southeast, and the Capella to Rubyvale Road is the main route through the locality. Situated on the route between Capella and the Central Queensland Gemfields at Rubyvale, the area supports cattle grazing.
