About Bondoola

Bondoola is a rural locality in the Livingstone Shire of Central Queensland, situated approximately 8 kilometres south-west of Yeppoon and 34 kilometres north-east of Rockhampton. The area forms part of the traditional lands of the Darumbal people, and European settlement began around 1850 with sheep and cattle grazing as part of Queensland's pastoral expansion. The Bondoola railway station was part of the North Rockhampton to Emu Park line, which opened in December 1888.
