About Argyll
Argyll is a rural locality in the Central Highlands Region of Queensland, located near the Sapphire Gemfields in the Bowen Basin area. The landscape is characterised by open grazing country and brigalow scrub, with the local economy based on cattle grazing. The locality's boundaries were adjusted in 2019 and 2020 to accommodate new gemfields localities.
