About Stewart Creek Valley
Stewart Creek Valley is a rural locality in the Shire of Douglas in Far North Queensland, south of Daintree. It is bounded by the Daintree River to the north and features Stewart Creek, which flows through the valley into the river. The area is used primarily for grazing, and the surrounding hills were used as a filming location for the 1998 war film The Thin Red Line.
