About Midgenoo
Midgenoo is a small rural locality in the Tully River valley of Far North Queensland, within the Cassowary Coast Region, approximately 15 kilometres north of Tully. The flat tropical land is used principally for sugarcane farming, and the Bruce Highway and North Coast railway line pass through the locality. The area lies within the Wet Tropics, surrounded by some of Queensland's highest rainfall and most productive banana and sugarcane country.
