About Mamu
Mamu is a rural locality in the Cassowary Coast Region of Queensland, lying almost entirely within national parks and state forest. The western part lies within Wooroonooran National Park and the eastern part within Japoon National Park, with mountainous terrain and waterfalls such as Binda Falls on the South Johnstone River.
