About Gregory (NT)
Gregory is a vast, remote outback locality in the Northern Territory's Victoria River region, named after explorer Augustus Gregory who traversed the area in the 1850s. It encompasses dramatic sandstone gorges, ancient Aboriginal rock art and large cattle stations, and lies adjacent to Judbarra-Gregory National Park, the Territory's second-largest national park.
