About Bulman Weemol

Bulman Weemol is a set of twin Aboriginal communities in the Roper Gulf region of the Northern Territory, about 312 kilometres north-east of Katherine on the Central Arnhem Highway. Bulman, also known as Gulin Gulin, and Weemol lie three kilometres apart, and both are closed communities requiring a Northern Land Council permit to visit. Residents speak Rembarrnga, Dalabon and Kriol, and the communities host an annual Walamun Cultural Festival.
