About Middle Point

Middle Point is an administrative locality in the Northern Territory of Australia, within the Litchfield Municipality about 53 kilometres east of Darwin. It takes its name from a ridge of fertile land projecting into the coastal plains of the Adelaide River. The locality includes Fogg Dam Conservation Reserve, Harrison Dam and a former CSIRO research station, and was the home of the failed Humpty Doo Rice Project.
