About Hinchinbrook (NSW)
Hinchinbrook is a residential suburb in Sydney's south-west, 35 kilometres from the CBD, formed in 1986 from parts of Green Valley and Hoxton Park. It is named after the creek that runs through the suburb, which was itself named for Supreme Court Judge Barron Field's property.
