About Ashcroft
Ashcroft is a residential suburb of Sydney in the City of Liverpool, about 35 kilometres southwest of the CBD. It was one of six suburbs forming the Green Valley Housing Commission estate built during the affordable housing crisis of the 1960s, and was named after the Ashcroft family, early colonial graziers and meat wholesalers who donated land for the development.
