About Castlereagh
Castlereagh is a suburb of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, located 67 kilometres north-west of the CBD in the City of Penrith. Proclaimed in 1810 as one of the five "Macquarie towns", it retains a semi-rural character. The suburb is the site of the Penrith Lakes Scheme and the Sydney International Regatta Centre, a world-class rowing venue built for the 2000 Olympics.
