About Kentlyn

Kentlyn is a suburb of south-western Sydney, in the City of Campbelltown and the Macarthur region. The area, originally home to the Tharawal people, formed part of the Campbelltown Common before it was opened for selection in 1894. From the 1920s it was sold as the Kent Farms subdivision, officially taking the name Kent Lyn in 1933. Scenic protection zoning in the 1970s kept blocks large, and Kentlyn is now one of Campbelltown's most affluent suburbs, with the heritage-listed Bull Cave in its bushland.
