About Woodbine (NSW)

Woodbine is a residential suburb of Sydney in the City of Campbelltown, in the Macarthur region of New South Wales, located 55 kilometres south-west of the Sydney CBD. Established in 1976 and named after Woodbine Cottage, home of the Payten family from the 1870s to the 1960s, the suburb is on the traditional land of the Tharawal people for over 30,000 years. Almost entirely residential with 93.8 per cent separate houses and no Housing Commission properties, Woodbine features Australia's first underground display home, built in Ettalong Place by Jewan Constructions in 1981.
