About Yatte Yattah
Yatte Yattah is a historically significant locality on the Princes Highway on the South Coast of New South Wales, about four kilometres north of Milton. Settled in 1827, it was the first part of the Milton-Ulladulla district taken up by Europeans, when Reverend Thomas Kendall was granted land where he felled red cedar and ran cattle. The poet Henry Kendall was born here, and the area retains heritage-listed Georgian homesteads such as Kendall Dale and Boolgatta.
