About Worrigee
Worrigee is a suburb of Nowra in the City of Shoalhaven, New South Wales, Australia, located approximately 6 kilometres southeast of Nowra on the South Coast. The name derives from an Aboriginal word meaning "peppermint tree", and the area was formerly known as Boston, a private town within the de Mestre estate. Worrigee is bordered to the west by the 232-hectare Worrigee Nature Reserve, established in 2001, and to the east by the Brundee Swamp Nature Reserve.
