About Burrill Lake
Burrill Lake is a small village on the Princes Highway in the South Coast region of New South Wales, a seaside suburb of the Milton-Ulladulla district in the City of Shoalhaven, surrounding the lake of the same name. The village name is derived from an Aboriginal word meaning 'wallaby'. The lake, which opens to the sea through the Burrill Inlet, has long been a popular destination for anglers, with species including flathead, bream and blackfish.
