About Rosewood (Snowy Valleys - NSW)
Rosewood is a village community and locality in the south-east of the Riverina region of New South Wales, about 16 km south-east of Carabost and 19 km north-west of Tumbarumba. A post office opened in 1885, and the locality retains heritage buildings including the Coppabella Blacksmith Shop, listed on the state heritage register. The village is one end of the Tumbarumba to Rosewood Rail Trail.
