About Lower Bago

Lower Bago is a small rural locality in the Snowy Valleys district of New South Wales, near the town of Batlow. The Bago area was opened to closer settlement in the early 1900s, when small farm blocks were taken up for orchards and dairies, and the locality name appears in local records from that era.
