About Galore

Galore is a rural community in the central east of the Riverina in New South Wales, within the City of Wagga Wagga about 22 kilometres north-west of Collingullie and 28 kilometres south-east of Sandigo. The locality takes its name from nearby Galore Hill, named after an 1839 settler's exclamation about the abundance of land. Adjacent Galore Hill Scenic Reserve is a NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service reserve whose walking trails include the Morgan's Caves Loop, said to have sheltered bushranger Dan Morgan in the 1860s.
