About Currawarna
Currawarna is a rural community in the central east of the Riverina in New South Wales, within the City of Wagga Wagga local government area, about 6 kilometres north-west of Millwood and 32 kilometres south of Coolamon. The name comes from the Wiradjuri language and means pine tree. Its post office operated from 1899 to 1979, and the locality today is a farming centre that also hosts a winery and restaurant.
