About Buddong

Buddong is a sparsely settled forest locality in the Snowy Valleys area on the western slopes of the Snowy Mountains in New South Wales, between Tumbarumba and Talbingo, running up to the Tumut region of Kosciuszko National Park. The locality is noted for Buddong Falls, where Buddong Creek cascades about 60 metres down a granite and shale cliff, and for the Hume and Hovell walking track which passes through the area.
