About Bogong Peaks Wilderness
Bogong Peaks Wilderness is an uninhabited locality in the Snowy Mountains of New South Wales, covering rugged, forested mountain country in the northern section of Kosciuszko National Park. It forms part of the Bogong Peaks Wilderness Area, one of several wilderness zones protected within the park, and is remote country of steep ridges and snow gum woodlands with no settlements.
