About Tweed Heads West
Tweed Heads West is a suburb of Tweed Heads in north-eastern New South Wales, on the Tweed River beside the Queensland border, about 104 km south-east of Brisbane. Part of Bundjalung country, it grew from river crossing and farming land into a residential suburb after World War II, and is home to the Tweed Regional Museum and the relocated Boyd's Fishermen's Shed maritime museum.
