About Tabbimoble

Tabbimoble is a rural locality in the Richmond Tweed region of New South Wales, located about 554 kilometres from Sydney in the Northern Rivers hinterland between Casino and Grafton. The hilly hinterland is dominated by cattle grazing, native forest, and small hobby farms on Bundjalung people's traditional lands, and contains the 1,074-hectare Tabbimoble Swamp Nature Reserve established in 1999. The reserve protects endangered lowland coastal vegetation communities including swamp sclerophyll forest and freshwater wetlands, and is home to 18 threatened species including six nationally listed, adjacent to the Minyumai Indigenous Protected Area.
