About North Tumbulgum

North Tumbulgum is a locality on the Tweed River in the Tweed Shire of New South Wales, adjacent to the village of Tumbulgum at the confluence of the Rous and Tweed rivers, on the traditional lands of the Bundjalung people. It is the site of the Tumbulgum Historic Cemetery, which operated between 1883 and 1947. The surrounding flats include the Stotts Island Nature Reserve, a remnant of lowland subtropical rainforest, and the locality has views towards Wollumbin (Mount Warning).
