About Bungalora
Bungalora is a small rural locality in the Tweed Valley hinterland of northern New South Wales, situated within Tweed Shire approximately 12 kilometres north-east of Murwillumbah. The landscape features rolling hills typical of the region's volcanic caldera terrain, with subtropical vegetation and remnants of rainforest. The area is home to the heritage-listed Bungalora Homestead, a late Victorian Italianate residence linked to the region's early sugar industry and pioneering settlement.
